How many fits or seizers can one person take before it is too much? Does it depend on the person and just the type of fit? I have been reading and seen one man to have so many he was hospitalized but I never found a recent story on him.

I think this is a difficult question to answer as we are all different, but from what I have been reading about the subject I am not sure anyone really knows whats going on with the seizers. The one thing that we should also remember is the carers: as a parent of a child with epilepsy I am not sure I can take anymore seizers myself. I know I need to be strong for my child but sometimes I feel I just need to let it all out, but there is nothing there for me.

Gerry,

They really are going to be dependant on type of seizers, frequency between them, age of the person, condition of the person etc. The best p[erson to give you advice will be a neurologist.
